The Burlington-Edison debate schedule consists of four types of competitions:

(Note: the different events will be designated by the colors above)
Students will be required to make arrangements with teachers and parents to attend any of these competitions. Becasue many of these tournaments are multiple days, students are sometimes required to miss class periods or even whole days. Permission slips are handed out before all tournaments and are rrquired to be filled out by all teachers whose classes will be missed, and by a parent or guardian.
